The Off
Building a new brand for a new workspace.
Leave the ordinary behind
As an extension of Deskeo, The Off was created from scratch to answer a new kind of workplace. One shaped by remote work, changing expectations and a growing desire to move away from traditional office conventions. The challenge was to build a distinct brand that could position The Off as a hospitality-driven enabler of this new way of working.
What if an office didn’t feel like one? The Off offers a subtle alternative to the traditional workplace: a place to work, without everything that makes work feel like work. Even its name plays with this idea, bringing the office “off” and hinting at a more relaxed, flexible way of working. A place designed for people who want to stay connected, keep moving and leave the ordinary behind.
The identity builds on some of Deskeo’s existing codes, while pushing them further in a more refined and expressive direction. A ligature-rich typeface, slick layouts and rounded graphic elements echo the wooden arches of The Off’s Parisian HQ. The logo plays with the image of a rising or setting sun, marking the place where great minds begin and end their day. The tone is direct, confident and subtly flattering, speaking to people who are going somewhere and making them feel right at home.

"We greatly appreciated the support of the Lord team, particularly their ability to translate our vision into a clear, distinctive and coherent brand territory. The naming and storytelling work allowed us to establish strong foundations for building The Off’s identity and brand universe, with a platform that is both robust and flexible enough to be deployed across all our touchpoints, from tableware to print, and throughout the entire brand experience."
